The NY Obesity Prevention Center for Excellence (OPCE) strengthens the collective impact of grantees and their partners in improving New Yorkers' health by increasing access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity.

  • CHSC grantees and their partners have been working to increase the resiliency of 245 communities across NYS to withstand the worst effects of coronavirus by strengthening food systems, increasing availability of safe outdoor spaces, and promoting wellness policies and practices in schools, worksites, hospitals, and community organizations.
