Playworks helps schools and districts make the most of recess through on-site staffing, consultative support, professional development, free resources, and more. We also support youth programs and other organizations that wish to improve playtime. Organizations like SHAPE America, The Centers for Disease Control, and City Year all look to Playworks to inform practice and policy.

OPEN Physical Education

OPEN Phys Ed helps teachers help their students by providing rigorous, outcomes-based curriculum tools to every physical education teacher. OPEN is a backward designed curriculum project that targets SHAPE America’s National Standards & Grade-Level Outcomes.

Fan4Kids

FAN4Kids is a non-profit company offering a comprehensive and innovative program designed to introduce kids to a lifetime of healthy living. Working with kids, parents, schools, and local communities, FAN4Kids brings an enhanced level of fitness and nutrition education into schools and homes. Our target population is elementary school students in low-income, urban public schools.
